Ash found Yoga at first for it’s physical benefits and at a time when she knew she needed something more than what was on offer at the gym. Something happened on her 22nd Birthday that made her commit to Yoga as her personal practice, she’s been practicing every day since. In 2015 Ash was inspired by her fun and playful Melbourne teacher to travel to Goa, India and immerse herself in one month of full time Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. It was on this life changing journey that she obtained her 200hr Yoga Teaching Certification and met another inspiring teacher who impressed upon her that “Smiling is our birthright” and “Bliss is our natural state”, pearls of wisdom that you can catch a hint of in Ash’s playful and challenging classes.
Ash is inspired by sharing her yoga practice with others, and after teaching on her own, is elated to be teaching amongst the positively uplifting Zenko Tribe.
Ash’s classes offer an opportunity to smile, laugh, fall over and get back up again as she encourages students to experience there natural state of bliss.

Do you have a mantra/quote that you often turn to?
“Don't seek, don't search, don't ask, don't knock, don't demand ~ relax. If you relax it comes, if you relax it is there. If you relax, you start vibrating with it.”
I definitely have the tendency to overthink, overanalyze and push to hard. This quote is always a great reminder to surrender and let go, all things are coming.
How do you fill up your love tank?
I commune with nature, friends, family and my mat.
What advice would you give someone wondering whether to try yoga for the first time?
I know it can be scary to try something new. Acknowledge the fear and jump in anyway. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
