Janice May
Janice is a lively and nurturing Yoga teacher, with the practice coming to her throughout a massive transition in her life, where she was in need of balance and calm, physically and mentally. Over the past several years being a teacher and student, it’s the practice of Yoga that has lead Janice into an expansive journey of self discovery, with her mat being a place to always hold her in her full expression, creativity and flow.
With a diverse style of teaching, Janice brings a nourishing practice for each of us to lean into and embody with our own essence.
Janice has a passion for bringing more people home to their centre, living more in alignment with their truth, which she deeply feels so much of it evolves with our practice of yoga on and off the mat.
Getting to know the Zenko Team
Do you have a mantra/quote that you often turn to?
When we heal ourselves, we heal for the whole.
How do you fill up your love tank?
Out in Nature, Meditation, Yoga and dance, breath work, journalling, all with juicy cacao flowing through me.
And with space… always creating space, to ground, to centre, to honour myself first.
What advice would you give someone wondering whether to try yoga for the first time?
Even if it’s one class a week, treat it as your weekly check in, an hour of mediative movement… and allow your magic to unfold from there.
