Kate Vox
When Kate found Yoga for the first time in 2007, it was a strange and awkward first date, and she wasn't sold! But, as a personal trainer and an avid sports woman in need of some TLC, yoga found her time and time again: Releasing tension, supporting her training, freeing her from injuries and calming her anxiety.
For Kate, yoga has become a journey inwards that has brought her more joy and peace, towards herself, her body and her spirit, than she could possibly have imagined. It is her absolute joy to teach and share this practise that has given her so much! Do you have a mantra/quote that you often turn to?
"You have no idea what you are capable of, yet!" How do you fill up your love tank? Mindful moving, beach time with my dog, practicing reiki, reading philosophical texts, taking cheeky naps and slowing down to be present with my next inhale. What advice would you give someone wondering whether to try yoga for the first time? Do it, but come with no expectations of yourself or of yoga. Allow your journey to be whatever it is. |
