Arriving to our retreat centre on 20 May 2024, we will gather and prepare to open our blissful retreat the following day, leaving ample time for you to check in, put your feet up, meet our community and sink in to your single or twin share room.
Take time out with the Zenko Tribe, as Helen leads you on this breathtaking journey of self reflection and discovery. The retreat will include a variety of dynamic power flow, deep meditative slow flows, yin sound and yoga nidra, specifically designed to balance the body and mind and to open the heart. Bali, often referred to as the ‘Island of Gods' could just as easily be called the ‘Land of Smiles’. Far more than a place, Bali is known for its rich and diverse culture and the feeling and aspiration of paradise that it brings. From the moment you arrive, you’re bound to experience the kind spirited locals and the Island’s overall character and charm. With a diverse natural environment of many varied landscapes, we’ve carefully selected Ubud, considered as Bali’s cultural hub to hold our 5 day immersion. Lose yourself in the natural beauty of our own resort’s grounds or embrace the cultural and artistic heart of Ubud full of many dancers, musicians, markets and more. |

YOUR FACILITATOR
Helen Boniface:
This retreat is a homecoming for Helen, a chance to return to Bali after her last visit here leading a retreat with our Zenko Yoga Founder, Lauren Verona many years ago. Helen fell in love with yoga in her early twenties, finding the practice at a time she was experiencing stress and anxiety in her life. It was through the benefits of pranayama (breath control) and meditation that really transformed her life and inspired her to go on and teach others. Helen has a wealth of teaching experience under her belt, including over 1500 hours in teacher trainings and has been leading teacher training courses here on the Sunshine Coast since 2016, including previous Zenko Teacher Trainings. YOUR ACCOMMODATION:
We will be staying at the enchanting Ananda Cottages, located in Ubud surrounded by lush rice fields, complete with a backdrop of cool tranquil hills. Choose from single or twin share accommodation, giving you a chance to meet and bond with like-minded Zenko yogis while being surrounded by all the beauty this resort has to offer.
Sit back and enjoy the in-ground infinity swimming pool, lapping up the serenity that surrounds you. Delight in our own exclusive yoga studio located at the resort where you will enjoy daily yoga and meditation as well as mindfulness techniques and tools to take home with you.
The food in Bali is just incredible - the clean food movement has well and truly arrived and eating has become an event in itself - from the architecturally stunning Clear Cafe to the local organic Indonesian warung complete with organic gardens to roam through, we take you to our absolute favourites for the welcome lunch and farewell dinner.
Choose lunch and dinner (own cost) from the vast array of options close by and tantalize your taste buds like never before. Healthy and nutritious breakfasts are included in your retreat price.

Whats included?

You’ll have plenty of free time to relax, unwind, explore and enjoy your surroundings whilst in Ubud. Choose from spa treatments, shopping, dance shows, Bali blessings and more.

When does it start and finish?
You will arrive the day before the retreat begins (your accommodation includes this extra night) so that you can settle into your room and surroundings before beginning on 21st May 2024 (if all guests are arriving in time for early afternoon check in on the 20th of May we will begin together then, this will be pending arrival times). Many of our retreaters may like to organise flights a few days early or later to maximize their time in Bali. We have carefully chosen dates to offer the opportunity for people to explore before or after, in addition to their retreat experience. For further information, please call 1300 69 69 21.
