Rebekah first discovered yoga during her pregnancies to calm her racing mind and connect within.  Post pregnancy she wanted a way to regain movement in her body but also continue learning more about mindfulness. Yoga was the perfect marriage of the two – movement with wisdom.
After years of being a student of yoga she undertook Zenko’s 200 hr teacher training to deepen her practice and continue her love of learning.  As a busy owner of a large event management company she never thought she would have the time to use her skills as a yoga teacher, but life sometimes takes you down the most interesting paths….

The love of how the mind plays a crucial role in the way our lives unfolded saw Rebekah step back from the corporate world, becoming a silent partner in her business, as she shifted focus to her ultimate life purpose – Life Coaching.  Undertaking an international certification in Personal and Business Coaching saw Rebekah being able to, not only assist her clients in releasing their negative belief patterns, but also provide her with the lifestyle and freedom that now allows her to share her love of yoga teaching.

Do you have a mantra/quote that you often turn to? 
'The thing is never the thing’. I’m not sure if it is an actual quote that can be attributed to a famous figure in history, but I love teaching others that what is triggering you is rarely the issue that needs addressing.
How do you fill up your love tank?
Time alone, meditation, connecting with my love ones, exercising in nature, filling myself with nourishing food, power naps, reading in my hammock and making time for new experiences and adventure.
What advice would you give someone wondering whether to try yoga for the first time? 
There are so many types of yoga and so many different approaches to teaching it.  When a teacher, or a style of teaching triggers you (annoys you, frustrates you, brings up any form of emotion) try the class at least one more time before trying the plethora of other yoga styles and teachers on offer.​
