Belinda Locklier
Belinda initially began practicing yoga when she was studying full time and working in the fitness and retail industries. A casual practice eventually became a full blown love affair and she completed her yoga teacher training in 2015. For Belinda, yoga became a way of assisting with injury management after years of fitness industry work, to reduce stress and to bring more mindful and spiritual practice into her life.
Belinda is also a registered Occupational Therapist, fitness instructor and personal trainer as well as a mum, and loves to mix up her classes with knowledge from all of these modalities. She has completed further yoga study in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and is currently completing her pre and post natal teacher training.
Belinda's classes have a strong focus on alignment, injury prevention and mindful movement and she is passionate about making yoga accessible for everyone, and using yoga and movement as tools for physical and mental health improvement. She believes in the power of integrating modern science with yogic philosophy and practice to create a holistic practice suitable for people from all walks of life.

How do you fill up your love tank?
I'm a voracious reader, so time with a book will always fill me up. Time outside, and hanging out with my daughter and partner also top the list.
What advice would you give someone wondering whether to try yoga for the first time?
Definitely do it - you'll never regret that you did try, but you will likely regret that you didn't.
