Immersion Overview
Are you ready to dive deep into your personal practice? Seeking fresh inspiration and some time out from everyday life to immerse in the yogic lifestyle? Wanting to learn more about yoga philosophy and the mythology originating from India? Ready to connect to the spiritual homeland of yoga? If so, come join Mandy and our guest teaching faculty on their 'Yoga Immersion' in Mysore, South India. During this immersion you will deepen your own practice via an exploration of more advanced asana (arm balances, inversions, deep backbends etc); pranayama techniques; bandhas and basic kriyas (jala neti, trataka, kapalabhati etc). Chanting, mantra and meditation will also form part of our daily practices giving you the opportunity to connect more deeply with the heart of the practice. We will also explore some of the philosophical teachings from the Bhagavad Gita along with the stories (mythology) from India.
