Kelly Landry-Bell
Kelly Landry-Bell, first came to yoga in her late teens to help manage yet to be diagnosed health problems. Kelly became drawn to many esoteric paths, studying yogic diet, Reiki, nutrition and meditation to manage her health.
These skills became paramount during her career traveling the world modelling and as TV presenter. It wasn’t until the later stages of her first pregnancy that it was discovered she has a rare congenital heart condition. Kelly attributes yoga, a healthy diet and lifestyle to being able to manage this condition for so long without treatment. Fast forward to two beautiful girls later, Kelly was seeking a career change with more meaning. Her family moved to the Sunshine Coast at the beginning of 2018 and Kelly quickly re-discovered her love of yoga and enrolled in 12 month, 200hr teacher training. She culminated her training with a trip to India and undertook classes with many leading yoga teachers; adding sound healing to her list of credentials whilst there. Kelly’s thirst for knowledge led her to undergo 30hrs Rainbow Kids Teacher training. Her love of children and having fun makes her the perfect fit for kids yoga. Kelly is committed to continue her learning of this incredible path and aims to share her knowledge and love of this life practice with as many people as she can. Do you have a mantra/quote that you often turn to? You live most of your life inside your head, make sure it's a nice place to be. How do you fill up your love tank? Morning cuddle with my daughters are the best! I love spending quality time with my children, family and friends and I love bringing yoga into peoples lives through teaching. I also devote regular time to myself, weather it be through practicing yoga, getting out in nature, meditating or time alone. One of the most important practices in life is remembering fill your own cup and honouring what you are calling in, in order to fill that cup. What advice would you give someone wondering whether to try yoga for the first time? If not now, when? Yoga has given so much to my life that I cannot sum up it all up in just a few short sentences. If one person can experience even a drop of the richness it has given me, then it's definitely a drop worth trying. You will not be disappointed. |
