"My journey inward through yoga informs the outward expression of myself in everyday life. It goes so far beyond a movement practice, but rather a way of existing and relating to the world around me. I love the humbling nature of yogic philosophy and the realization that the more you learn, the less you know. It is a never ending process of learning and self inquiry that I am honoured to share with others."
Do you have a mantra/quote that you often turn to?
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
— Margaret Mead
"Nature does not hurry, and yet everything is accomplished." — Lao Tzu
How do you fill up your love tank?
Walking in nature, time with my loved ones, reading, being creative, and quiet alone time.
What advice would you give someone wondering whether to try yoga for the first time?
Enjoy the experience for yourself and don't be concerned with what everyone else is doing. Yoga is a deeply personal practice that does not need to be measured by external accomplishments.
