Sarah Best
Sarah is a yoga teacher, handstand coach, Remedial massage therapist and ZenThai Shiatsu student. With a background as a gymnast and a dancer, movement has always been her heart’s expression.
Yoga was Sarah’s doorway into a lifelong exploration of something deeper beyond the external form of the human body. The edges of the yoga mat became a playground that constantly called her home. Through embodiment, she became her own medicine and this is the freedom she shares through her teachings.
Sarah’s classes have an intuitive, curious and playful approach, keeping you in touch with wisdom of your inner child.
Getting to know the Zenko Team
Do you have a mantra/quote that you often turn to?
“Don’t worry, don’t be afraid ever, because this is just a ride”.
How do you fill up your love tank?
Handstands! From a young age, I have been balancing on my hands as an artistic expression. It fills me with absolute joy.
What advice would you give someone wondering whether to try yoga for the first time?
Begin exactly as you are and don’t compare yourself to others. Try out different styles and teachers because yoga is for absolutely everybody. Then, let curiosity take you by the hand and open up pathways you never knew existed :)
