The Lauren Verona Yoga Legacy Incorporated exists to provide financial support to access Yoga Memberships, Certified Yoga Teacher Trainings and Yoga Retreats. Those who may choose to apply to these scholarships are:

In addition to this it is our vision to one day be able to support current yoga teachers to access trainings that allow them to become Trauma Informed or teach Yoga Therapy as well as other disciplines to increase their capacity to support their community and run trauma aware and trauma sensitive yoga and meditation classes, workshops, retreats and trainings.
HOW DO I APPLY TO ACCESS THIS SCHOLARSHIP / BURSARY FUND AND BECOME A RECIPIENT?
You will need to complete our Lauren Verona Yoga Legacy - Application Form in order to be reviewed as a potential Recipient by the Charity Committee. In addition to this, you can use this same form to nominate someone you know who is in need of access to yoga, yoga trainings or yoga retreats and is unable to financially support themselves to do so. In these circumstances we advise you should let the person you are nominating know in advance and ensure that you make a note in the application form at the bottom.
We are aware that the nature of the information provided to us may be confidential in it's nature and we will endeavor to ensure that any information that needs to be reviewed in order to make a decision on the request for financial support is kept confidential to the degree to which it can be. In completing this form you agree that you understand that there may be times when information is required to be shared (For example: name and contact details to set up scholarships with provider companies).
It is important to be aware, all donations will be allocated directly to the organization providing the scholarship opportunity, no money will be paid directly to applicants.

GOALS OF THE LAUREN VERONA YOGA LEGACY INCORPORATED
- To provide access to community members who fit into particular categories or who may be disadvantaged financially to take ownership of improving their mental, physical and emotional health through the practice of yoga.
- To provide access to community members who fit into particular categories or who may be disadvantaged financially to be be able to complete a yoga teacher training
- To provide a process that allows vulnerable persons to request and receive financial support to attend a yoga retreat in order to improve their mental, physical and emotional health
- To up-skill yoga teachers and or community members as yoga teachers who are able to provide yoga classes, workshops and retreats to vulnerable communities and community members.
