Course Overview
This course will cover a detailed, yet fundamental level of anatomy of the human body. In this course we explore the relevant anatomical structures of the body, while delving into the main joints, surrounding musculature and connective tissue structures. We explore how they work individually, as well as how they work together, to form the therapeutic asanas that we utilise in our classes and yoga practice. This course will help each trainee develop their confidence as a yoga teacher to ensure safety and injury prevention, both in the studio as well as their own practice. This is achieved through developing an understanding of the most common yoga injuries, how to prevent them occurring in the practice along with how to manage and support students practicing with existing injuries.
