Katie knew there was something more to life, it wasn’t until she stepped onto her mat for the first time she discovered what that something was – Yoga! Through practicing she found the balance, strength and love for herself she had been searching for. With a background in the fitness industry and constantly pushing her body, she soon realised yoga wasn’t just about the physical. It was the true practice of yoga that got Katie hooked and from her first class she knew she had to share this. She completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Zenko in 2017 and from the first day of training she knew this was exactly where she was meant to be.
These days yoga is a part of Katie’s daily life, taking what she learns on her mat out into every day as a working mum. She believes we all have the strength within to create the life we want and it is through yoga we learn the tools to achieve this.
When not on her mat you will find Katie in the great outdoors where she draws inspiration for her classes.Katie is passionate about the awareness yoga brings to each moment and aims to bring that into every class with her heating yet fun flows. Katie’s classes will focus on movement and technique while empowering you to discover your true inner strength.

Do you have a mantra/quote that you often turn to?
‘All you need is within you’. I truly believe within each of us is the strength to accomplish anything we put our minds to.
How do you fill up your love tank?
Spending time watching my little man explore the world definitely fills my love tank. I also love time in my own company, a swim in the ocean or walk on the beach always fill me up.
What advice would you give someone wondering whether to try yoga for the first time?
What are you waiting for? Your life will never be the same again!
